Sorry for the lack of a visual aid. Our computer has officially died and I am trying to get by without. Anyways... I have started reading a book I borrowed from my friend Ali months ago. Whoopsies. I wonder if she even remembers that I still have it. Don't worry Als, I'm almost done and it will be returned to you soon enough. I am definitely buying my own copy.
It is titled Basketball for Women. One of the authors is Nancy Lieberman-Cline. I have recently discovered that she was an amazing basketball player, and athlete. I have learned so much about being a competitor from her book. I wish I would have read it in high school. It has really motivated me. I encourage all of you to atleast read the first 100 pages. You will be amazed at what she has accomplished in her life. She is the youngest male or female basketball player to win an Olympic Medal. She also could dunk in high school, at 5'8. I still am shocked by that fact. She was the first women to play in an all-men's professional league. She won back-back national championships at Old Dominion, and has countless other feats and awards to be amazed by.
But most of all, I am completely amazed at her dedication and passion for basketball. It has definitely changed my life. Thank you Nancy!
